Hey there! I’m Fernando, and I’ve just got to share the incredible experience I had at Los Angeles General Medical Center. Honestly, it was the best hospital experience I’ve ever had, hands down! The medical staff, especially the trauma emergency crew and the team in the department where I stayed overnight, were nothing short of amazing.
Every single nurse showed such care and attention, making me feel so supported and looked after. The medical team working on my treatment plan were super thorough, making sure everything was just right for my overall well-being. And guess what? They even gave me a teddy bear to hug when I needed to cough or sneeze, helping me manage the pain from my fractured rib. It was such a thoughtful gesture that really showed how much they care. Big shoutout to everyone at Los Angeles General Medical Center for making my stay as comfortable and caring as it was. You guys are the best!
I have been coming to Los Angeles general ever since I was transferred from Huntington Hospital for the continuation of my colon cancer treatment. I’ve been going there a year and 4 months and recently had surgery and a 4 day stay there. I have been very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the thoroughness they use in your treatment, the large pharmacy they have on site, the high quality testing and X-rays, the doctor appointments. I had a long difficult surgery and the surgeons were top notch as well as every nurse that helped me there. This is a very good, underrated, hospital. I highly recommend it.
Beautiful, historical building! What an entrance and such a beautiful backdrop. The building has historical value, so it will not be torn down and will be converted soon!
The Burn Unit is out of this world! I had some of the kindest most intelligent nurses taking care of me along with several empathetic yet thorough doctors that made me feel more comfortable that I ever thought possible while in a hospital…
So can she straight lie about having herpes?
Or does she just not have to tell me?
...and am I supposed to see a difference here?
Probably a good idea, when visiting California, to ask every woman you encounter if she has Genital Herpes in case you forget later.
Great hospital! They help out. Be expected to wait 9-12 hours to be placed into a bed . So make sure to eat & be prepared to spend the whole day there. Portable chargers and food.
Cant tell if this is a homeless shelter or an actual hospital. Dont mind being on time for your appointments cause itll take 3-4 hours for you to get checked up on anyways. This hospital is understaffed, overworked, and seems like every single worker here has zero clue what they are doing and they dont give two craps. The amount of drug abusers that come here to pick up their meds are constantly loitering around the hospital. The nurses give you false wait times. Legit every single person in this hospital looks depressed and overworked. Had major knee surgery and was told to come back in under a week. Zero parking spots for post-op patients. And had to park nearly a mile away at a very ghetto looking lot that also has zero parking. There is a bridge that connects to buildings and they dont even bother letting patients know that any part of the hospital is in construction. Oh and cant forget that they also deny wheelchair service cause they are so understaffed to people who arent even one week out of surgery. Not sure how to hospital has 4 stars. This hospital must have paid off alot of fake AI bots to give this place good reviews cause this by far the worst hospital ever. Completely disgusting and overcrowded and understaffed. What a joke to all that work here. Wish i could give this dumb*** hospital 0 stars
On 1/14/2024 I fractured and dislocated my ankle at the Ford Motel in downtown LA. I had the rudest most pretentious and obnoxious experience with the er staff. They watched my fall with no help and bullied me, disrespected me told me too walk on a dislocated and fractured ankle very rudely. Has anyone ever told these cruel, proud, idiots that they wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for sick and ill people like me. I am filing a more detailed formal complaint but please don't go here these people will make you want to sue them. I promise
